Lots of walking involved, don't recommend it in the summer months between 1-3 as just too hot. Lots of quad bikes and youths when we went, which wasn't ideal but kept themselves to themselves.
Views are breathtaking. Can see so much of the coastline from the top. It's a brilliant little spot to reflect on your time in Cyprus.

Really great place to hike and walk not difficult. The rocky outcrops and the caves are very interesting as well as the lovers bridge. However it will be very busy at weekends and unfortunately there are roads coming across the National Park so not as quiet as you might like and not as much fresh air as you would hope because of all the car fumes.

We took bus 102 to Cape Greco. We had a quick bite to eat in a café - the selection is limited and the staff not particularly friendly.
Our route took us - on the Aphrodite cultural route - first to the Blue Lagoon. A really beautiful place with crystal clear water. Unfortunately it was very crowded, there were tourists and "party boats" everywhere, from which extremely loud music could be heard. The alcohol level of the mostly young people present was obvious and so after a cold drink on the beach we quickly decided to continue our hike towards the approximately 95m high table mountain directly on the cape.
We continued walking along the coast. The hiking trail was almost flat at first. However, we soon noticed that we were on a circular path around the cape and that there was no direct path to the mountain. We then chose the direct route to the summit and climbed over rubble and through bushes. From the summit we could enjoy the view in all directions.
Our way back to the visitor center was only interrupted by a short break and an encounter with the military. Without really looking at our map, we took a wrong turn and suddenly found ourselves in the middle of a restricted area. So we went back the way we came and took a different route.

If you are in the Ayia Napa area, this is a great area to drive through. You can park at entrance of the park/area and hike (which could get hot as there is 0 shade) or you can drive to the various stops. Note, if you drive, you don't need as much time unless you are planning on hanging out at one of the stops. We were able to stop by all the various stops in the area under 2 hours. But it's def. worth a visit. The area is also free to enter, no tickets required.

Amazing views and a great half day trip! There is a visitor centre with toilets and drinks, with a bus stop just next to it with routes to protaras and ayia Napa.
Can be busy at peak times and a bit rocky so wear appropriate shoes and watch your step.
Overall would recommend!

Crazy beautiful. A bit boring last part of the just over 11 km long trip we were on. Really nice viewpoints with azure water. Remember to bring snorkel equipment. There are several small cozy places to jump into the water and see fish and enjoy the visibility in the clear water. Also more options to get smoothies and other snacks. Top experience. 👏

Awesome view from the top. We went on the Jeep Safari Tour. A great hotspot. Up there by the parking lot, there is a drinks and ice cream truck. Perfect for cooling off. The prices are even cheaper than in the city center.

Fantastic place for a half day activity. Amazing views of cliffs, caves, blue sea, waves...
The best way is to get there by car and drive from spot to spot, but walking can be done too, just to avoid midday in summer.

Not far from Ayia Napa we stuck to the tarmac roads. Everything was very accessible including the natural arch and sea caves and church with small car parks often with a van selling refreshments. Scenery was really stunning and definitely worth the short drive.

Is there a walking path to/from here to the Atlantica Mare hotel? We are getting a taxi here later today but wanted to know whether it is possible to walk back easy enough (with two young children) if we can’t get a taxi back. TIA!

How do you get from Larnaca to this national forest park by bus? :) thank you!
Written April 5, 2019
We went from Konnos Beach (Grecian Park Hotel) to Larnaca with bus 711. So you can go from Larnaca to Konnos Beach with bus 711. This bus stop is around 3 km from Cape Greco. You can use buses 101/102 for that last 3 km part if you want.

How can we travel from southern Cyprus to northern Cyprus
Written August 3, 2018
Hi,
You will need to cross at one of the Border Points. If you have transport - a Hire Car you will need to check if you have Permission from the Company - The closest will probably be at Ayia Nik where you will need your Passport & Car Insurance. Another easier way is to take one of the excursions offered by one of the many Outlets in the holiday hotspots or your Tour Operator. The third option could be to travel to Nicosia and walk across the Border at Ledra Street. You will need your Passport for this one.
Enjoy your Holiday and the North.
