Was lucky e ough to vist Mudgee for a brief work vist which included dinner at di Lusso a small boutiques winery with restaurant and can cater for functions. As we were the only group we received undivide attention from Rob the host, David in charge of wines and the ladies for meals. Introduction to winery and venue, preview of... More

We decided to try Di Lusso estate whilst staying in Mudgee. Was a bit sceptical after reading other reviews. Food was quite good but the service staff were very poor. There were approx 4 service members who were mostly quite slack. Virtually ignored once seated. Empty plates left. Coffee wasn't offered until we were about to leave. Older man serving... More

The man who served us was very friendly and informative. Loved the Sangiovese in particular. Nice atmosphere at the cellar door.

We were slightly disappointed not to be able to eat lunch here through the week, magnificent setting. Love the wines and have never walked away empty handed. The staff are great and know their product, should not leave this winery off your list.

Di Lusso are extremely passionate about Italian wine varieties and make a great range of them. It's hard for me to choose a favourite, but I would have to say that the Barbera, Lagrein and Muscat Dopo Cena were huge standouts for me! Oh and the foods damn fine as well...

Called into this winery to do a tasting and ended up staying for lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even though it was the middle of winter the restaurant was very inviting. We had pizza and the oven was right in view. It was a cold day but the eating area was cozy with heaters. The view... More

They were busy, so was a long wait. Could have done with more staff as after we were seated we saw nobody for some time and went inside to order. We ordered a couple pizzas and the tempura veg & prawns. Food was tasty, the pizzas are woodfired and traditional in style and flavor. The kids had an enjoyable time... More

Called in for lunch (yet again) and were not disappointed. The figs and gorgonzola wrapped in prosciutto and baked were amazing and the lamb with beetroot relish and High Valley feta salad was ALMOST as good. Very good food, attentive service, wonderful wines - what else would one want?

Being a local and owning my own business I was looking forward to impressing my guests to a lovely lunch. Not the case. Disappointing customer service to say the least. After a long wait the owner finally gave us menu.No wine menu was offered and finally after asking for one, we ordered a bottle of Wine only for him to... More

What an awful experience. ..The whole group walked out in disgust. Please don't waste your time or money..go elsewhere. I have never met such a rude pig in my life. The saddest thing is that we work in the tourism industry...Thank goodness he is in the minority.
