We did the short selfguided tour, which was a great experience. What was really disturbing, where the crowds of people, who were definetely not in the condition to do this tour, but booked a guide and got inside. The tour itself was expensive, but at the end worth the money. The experience is amazing and we can recommend it. The water level was so high at some places, that we needed to swim. But there were always ropes to help you. At one point we lost our GoPro - but the staff helped us to get it back. That was great! It's a real nice adventure!…

This was one adventure I was looking forward to doing when I. Jordan. Drove 2 hours there and when I got there they said they are closed and don’t open till April. I feel they should have advertised it better. On google it clearly said it is open. When I left the place two other families came and were enquiring and were disappointed as well that it was close.…

Wadi (valley in English) al-Mujib is located about 1.5 hour drive South of Amman. The site offers free parking and a remarkable experience. The entrance fee includes a life jacket that is required during the water hike (about an 1 hour each way). They sell some type of water shoes and rent a small hydrophobic bag for personal belongings which will get wet. The experience begins with a platform with a ladder that provides access to the passive river with nice photo spots between the naturally carved walls . Then you will adventure into an opposing stream lazy river with few spots that will challenge your hiking techniques. The trail is fun but it does require a bit of strength and hiking abilities. At the end, you will find a relaxing spot next to a water fall where you can enjoy the little fish that eat your dead skin from your feet. To complete the experience, you will have to return through the same path. You should enjoy the water ride down but be careful with the rocks. Also, try to enjoy gliding through the lazy river while admiring the sky and wall formation. I highly recommend this experience.…

This was an absolutely amazing experience! But make sure that you’re prepared with the proper clothes and shoes - you will be scrambling up rocks and swimming against rapids. Make sure your shoes are tight-fitting and waterproof (the one size fits all shoes at the place won’t do.) Also leave behind any valuables; you will lose them in the water.…
