Absolutely beautiful beach, not crowded at all, clean water, quiet and relaxing. We took our kids with us and we all felt very safe.

A nice beach, a little less traveled than the Condado beaches by the big resorts. Clean, with good sand, and a nice decent clientele

Is it ok to drink the water in Puerto Rico? CDC recommends safety precautions regarding water, fresh fruits, etc. Any stomach problems while visiting the area? Also, are mosquitoes a problem, as CDC has a Zika warning posted.

We will be staying at Pelican Point on Sandy Beach in a few weeks. Our rental does not have beach chairs or umbrellas. Is there somewhere to rent them on Sandy Beach?

There are a few different bars on Sandy Beach that rent chairs. I'm not sure on the umbrellas though. Tamboo seaside grill is one of them.
Can you rent beach chairs, umbrellas? Is there a place to get food and cold beer? Thanks
