Growing up in Dundas I spent a lot of quality family time here. My brother played baseball, I played football we swam at the pool, fireworks show, Scout Jamborees and fiels days. Still after 50 years the park is alive with activity. A peaceful place to walk or walk the dogs too.

Huge park with an oval roadway around the park, used often for exercise walking/running. Great for picnics, having been on several at this park. Fireworks every year during Victoria Day weekend are spectacular. There are other festivals that are held here during the year. I think the park used to be a racetrack a long time ago when Dundas was a famous Canadian industrial town, now mellowed to a residential, quiet community. In the summer there is a splash pool, for young kids with water sprayers. Also a big children's playground with lots of apparatus to climb on. An type of amphitheatre for music and entertainment. On Tuesdays in the summer, a band plays very good music. Bring along a lawn chair. There is a lawn bowling club in the park and in the winter a skating rink. There is a concession booth where you can buy food or snacks, even ice cream . Well worth the visit.

Good playgrounds for kids! Picnic shelter! Road to walk on for a good walk encircling the park. Rock garden display. Wonderful old trees with open areas for games or baseball. Tennis courts.

The place to take your Family for a picnic and relax. Water Pad in the Summer; Concert Bands and many Sports during the summers as well. Swings Slides, and interactive fun climbing exercising equipment. The Park goes back many many decades and is well groomed and maintained. Free too !

Park, splash pad and wading pool combination. And it's a city park so it's free. It's always a win with LO's. Last trip they picked it over Lion Safari (and their splash pad!) They have a blast going back and forth from one to the other. Life guard on duty in the wading pool an added bonus. Park is always clean and never had a problem with anyone there. It's usually busy but there's always room. Fabulous space for a picnic under a tree or at a table. You can go as little as an hour, pack a meal and you could make a full half day trip out of it. They also have a food stand seems to have good hours it's been open day and in the evening when we've played ball there.

How do I rent a Pavillion here? The city's website is not helpful (as usual)
