Visited these gardens during autumn. this garden has several sections including Japanese gardens, scented garden, Rose garden. The Japanese garden is beautiful with several oak & maple trees which give beautiful colours during autumn season. It also has a lake where you can see several ducks quacking. This botanic garden also has a section for fauna where you can see... More

The gardens are a lovely oasis for a quiet wander for garden lovers, families and for some alone time. We had an enjoyable time just having a break and enjoying the ambience.

The Gardens have deteriorated since my last visit approx. 20 years ago. The pond in the Japanese Garden used to be beautiful with ducks and swans. Now it is filthy with an oily film on the surface. There was nowhere to buy coffee or food. I suppose it's worth a look if you haven't been before. Perhaps it's prettier in... More

Don't be fooled by the name. The parts of the park which are free are not well-maintained. The pond is yucky, and the plants are not trimmed and growing haphazardly. You want "nicer" gardens, you have to PAY, such as the Japanese Garden. Pooh. Why should I pay for a Botanic Gardens???? Ridiculous. And it is a LONG walk from... More

Who would believe there is a beautiful Botanical Garden hidden is suburbia! A worthwhile place to visit on a weekend. The Japanese Garden there is superb. An oasis of tranquility. Nearby is a small aviary and a small Arts Centre displaying works of local artists. A pleasant day out.

An excellent hidden treasure in Auburn That is open to everybody. Beautifully maintained with great walking tracks and plenty of areas for a picnic or just a peaceful sit down. Especially love the Japanese garden area, watching the koi is very restful.

I went with my girlfriend. They have few things to see. The Japanese garden was most attractive with lots of fishes in the pond.

It is a great place to take your kids for watching kangaroos, emus, peacocks and ducks for free. Kids enjoy a lot and are always ready to go.

You wouldn't think that there would be a beautiful oasis in the middle of auburn..... but there is. Worth a leisurely stroll on a relaxing weekend, the animals are fed 10am and 2pm on the weekends. A beautiful wedding ceremony was held here, with the lake as a backdrop.
