What a lovely place. Much less visitors compared to many archaeological sites in Cusco. You can explore the place with so much freedom. The best place we have visited in Cusco. Don’t miss this if you are going for the southern valley.

I don't know. Not much in tipon. The ruins are overrated. on the way back from Machu Picchu, when the train ends in oyantambo, ask your taxi to stop at the maras salt flats.

We booked a taxi from our hotel, and he waited for us. It was 99 soles for the day, and he took us to another site as well. Super easy and a great way to get there.
