the museum has a large collection of different items, cameras, jewels, typewriters, electrical goods and a basement with witchcraft and holy inquisition items, this was a personal collection built up over a long time. It's possible to take photos and ride on carriage. You can complete your visit with our audioguides in spanish, english, french or german.

Mad as a box of frogs and delightful and scary in equal doses. Not your average museum but something for everyone especially if you like clay pipes and torture. Seriously DO NOT MISS THIS PIECE OF ECCENTRICITY.

Well worth paying this museum a visit. Its pretty laid back compared to a lot of other museums so you don't feel you are constantly being watched by security and they encourage you to ride on the carriage. There is lots to see and make...More

We really appreciate your comment about our Museum. Thanks for sharing your experience. I think most of the explanations are in English such as in Spanish, but we'll make sure of that and try to solve the issue. Regards from the direction

I enjoyed the different exhibits, the way the museum is organised, as well as the warm welcome and introduction we received. It's also an interactive experience, since we were allowed to take photos on the coaches! My favourite exhibit is the display of bottles with...More

We weren't really sure what we were going to see and even now can't say what type of museum it was. It was a collection of everything. Fun for kids and adults. Just a neat place to check out.

We came across this seemingly small museum, walking from the car park to the centre of Ronda. Entrance fee was 4 Euros each and there were two floors to explore. They also had a toilet which was free for visitors. Lots of different exhibitions, including...More

We were a group of about 20 persons coming here for a bit of history and for trying some sweet wine. This place has a lot of old things ranging from hand weapons to a guillotine, from copper items to old photographs. Really interesting!

I have been living in Ronda for 14 years but never had the chance to visit the museum. Last night I did and I got dizzy with the different collections and displays ranging from swords, guns, rifles, fans, cameras, scales/weights, precision instruments (from the British...More

We really appreciate your words talking about Juan Antonio's private collection. It's never late to visit places that we didn't pay attention at first sight and if Lara Museum exceeded your expectations, even better. Regards, and come to visit us again if you've got the...More

Have an interest in Spanish film stars? How about the Inquisition? Transportation from centuries past? Museo Lara has it all, sort of a time machine portal to the past. In such a small space, a wealth of information abounds, well worth the €4 entrance fee....More
