    STAGGERING VIEWS
Just behind the Plaza de Toros in the New Town is the lovely little 19th century park, the Alameda del Tajo. This charming park is laid out with five avenues lined with trees leading to the cliff edge with its staggering views. My wife and I found it breathtaking and mesmerising in the extreme.

    Beautiful!!!
It was lovely to walk around this area and the view was magnificent. It was a rather chilly day in Ronda but it was also rather sunny as well. Everyone in our group have had an excellent time, i think, with our excellent local guide who speaks 4 languages. Recommended👍👍👍

Beautiful Tree-Filled Park with Great Views
This popular park provided a welcome respite from the unseasonable heat, with plenty of shaded seats. We found the section of the park north of the bullring to be more peaceful and less crowded, despite the excellent views and tree canopy. Worth a visit!

The park and gardens were on our way as we walked towards the new bridge. The gardens and paths are mainly tree lined with low lying shrubs and a pleasant walk through as you head towards the balcony area overlooking the valley below - it’s certainly a spectacular view and well worth a visit

This park & viewpoint is very pretty. Due to where we parked, we walked by this place both times walking into town so it's a good drop-in area, if you don't want to walk right by the road. Probably because Spain is so dry and it's hard to maintain grass, there are large patches of just dirt in between the walking paths near the lookout. It looks sad but not terribly uncommon for Spain. The rest of the area is beautifully shaded.

We came once on April 2nd, as we were driving through town. They were doing some work along the area of P.º Blas Infante but when we came back on July 8th-9th, it seemed to be completed. The park was much more lively in July, with people playing instruments for change here and there. We actually discovered a small playground in the park on our second visit, where you can look at a little water feature & water fowl as well. The playground was mostly in the sun but there's a whole section that is covered, where most of the kids were playing.

After arriving in Ronda we visited this area: the bullring and this lovely park. It was so peaceful and a musician played the violin beautifully. We enjoyed the wonderful view.

The park is close to the Plaza de Toros and also has a viewing platform which offers some great views of the surrounding countryside.

Built in the 19th century the avenue and park are lined with ancient trees, statues and have great views at one end, overlooking the mountains far away. A nice place for sunsets.

The Alameda del Tajo was previously known as Alameda de San Carlos and located next to the cliffs of Ronda canyon El Tajo. Located within the park is the Monumento a la Dama Goyesca (Monument of the Goyaesque Lady), a full-scale figure of a woman dressed in the traditional costume of Ronda.

Just behind the bullring or a short walk from the bridge past the Parador.
Nice peaceful park, fountains and formal gardens, artists setting up stands.
Lots of cats, if you are a cat lover! Toilets open sometimes.
But the view is superb!
Worth a walk to see if you are in town.
