“Kamarun Lookout along road to O'Reilly's”

The Lamington National Park Road from Canungra to O'Reillys Plateau offers numerous glimpses between trees, of stunning scenery out over the valleys, but rarely gives you somewhere to pull over and take it in. Kamarun Lookout is on the left about 2/3rds of the way up, and by the time you have driven the narrow road and multiple roadworks reduced to 20kmh, you will appreciate this peaceful stop before the crowds at O'Reilly's. There is a picnic setting in the roundabout road, but no washrooms. Those are 10km further up at O'Reilly's
