Had a fabulous time and saw 4 humpbacks up close. The rise in a zodiac was a ton of fun however a few folks got sea sick. Most of us has no problem with the swells.

We had a sunny, calm afternoon. It did not take long and we saw our first whale. We lost count of how many different humpback whales were spotted. Many blows and slaps as they fed. Were so lucky so see two breaches, One was right in front of us. What a surprise. Watched a mother and calf for a while, the guides were so informative. They even have names for some of the whales, one they called Sockeye. There was one that swam so close to the boat, when it blew, you could feel the mist. Highly recommended if looking to see whales.

Roy the captain took 12 of us out on a very foggy morning and from the moment we set off to the moment we returned I can only say it was very special. The fog added a different dimension made it all very eerie, after an hour or so it lifted and we started to see whales. We started with 3 Fin whales and then it went pretty quiet, Roy tried and tried to locate some others and what was probably his last attempt he hit pay dirt, 6 humpbacks. What else is there to say?

5 star I went one the tour August 25, 2015. The weather was bright and sunny and ocean relatively calm. I STRONGLY recommend Welcome Aboard Whale Watching Tours as they went above and beyond for everyone on the boat. We were out for 4-ish hours and saw lots of whales - including a full whale breach (jumped right out of the water), the Grey Seals and even a puffin. What impressed me more was how the staff really went above and beyond when I got sea sick. Friendly people and a great tour!
