This is the most amazing road I've ever been. Absolutely extraordinary landscapes, but a difficult road which is closed from evening until morning. And if you want to make a stop to eat something, I recommend "Stana Stefanu", with traditional shepherd food.

We were on a 2 days road trip. Main objectives were the Transalpina and Transfagarans roads. Pretty impressive, very steep road, in good condition. We also stopped from some photos.

Usually, the part starting from Rinca towards Sebes is closed due to bad weather. The weather is very unpredictibile and could vary from day to day. So is imperative to ask before going there. Enjoy.
