Sugar world is after the upgrade a few years ago again a nice place to bring the kids for a sunny day. Of course the sliders are not like the big parks like wet and wild but there no choice in cairns if you want sliders. My kids love it . The food that is served needs to be improved.... More

The kids love this place, water, slides and deep fried food. There are bbq facilities if you want to BYO. I can think of better places to go but sometimes it's good enough just to keep the kids happy.

Great Southside attraction. The kids have a ball and end up exhausted by the end of the day, therefore job well done!

This would have to be one of the top school holiday activities in Cairns. Enough to keep kidz entertained, make new friends and have a great time. There is an on-site kiosk but best bringing your own picnic lunch. Plenty of shaded tables and chairs and Lifeguards on duty. Entry price is reasonable considering you can stay from 10am to... More

Had a great day with a 9 and 11 year old. They both loved it. The place is relatively new and very well maintained. Food is also excellent.

Waterpark in Edmonton, Queensland. Definitely off the beaten track for the average Cairns tourist, but well worth the drive if you have young children and are looking for a fun and affordable way to spend the day. My son spotted a sign/billboard/advert for Sugarworld while traveling on the main drag into/out of Cairns. He looked it up and we decided... More

We really enjoyed our time at Sugarworld. Plenty of fun areas for the children to play in the water and the entry fee wasn't too expensive. Recommend day out.

This is a great day out for the family with kids. We took a 40 min bus ride to Sugarland (It was airconditioned however I have nothing nice to say about the driver). $45 to get in with unlimited use of the waterpark & water slides I believe is CHEAP! You can't get a carton of Beer for that.... Our... More

Spent an entire day at the park with my kids. Took a 45min bus ride from Cairns City Bus Stop. The kids had lots of fun trying out all the waterslides. What is nice about the park is that there is something for all ages. My younger kids enjoyed the water bucket splash feature while my older kids loved the... More

We have taken the kids several times as a treat to sugar world and they love it. Although it is not a cheap day out for a council operated park. Plenty of options for small children and waterslides for big kids. If its hot do the waterslides before lunch as the concrete gets ridiculously hot and only has mats at... More
