This is the place if you want to get proper spa treatment as opposed to a wellness day. They take their work very seriously - enjoyed a full day of massage, water treatments, mineral pool, inhalation therapy - just wonderful.

This facility has the strangest way of operating things. Basically, the only thing that is for free is that "mineral water" pool, which is not much larger than a garden pool. Everything else is classed as procedures and one needs to pay for and be granted access to by the least friendly woman ever. Not to mention as soon as... More

Very relaxing experience, just try to find the time when it is notcrowded. This morning we were almost the only people in the whole spa, it was great! Enough time to do all the treatments and anjoy the time in the pool and the sauna. Not cheap, the treatments are ok, the staff very helpful. Reccomended!

This was the best of the three spas that I tried in Karlovy Vary. It's basically one large room with a pool and some weird "treatment" areas. Everyone is "treated" together and there are mostly older Russian tourists. For example there is some type of hydrotherapy in which there are two small tiled pits, one has hot water and the... More

We booked the spa package for families and one separate. Upon going upstairs we were informed that one of the treatments my family booked would not be available because the pool/machine was broken. They were offered an alternative - the oxygen therapy. Two rounds of people went when we asked if it was there turn. The woman in charge was... More

We've been there with my mom, took one week treatment package with one main in and 2 minor procedures per day. Our timing was from 8 till 11 AM. Good stuff: 1. Staff is great and helpful. 2. Pool is good and they claim that it consists of 40% of mineral water. There are several heavy duty nozzles around the... More

Dear Mr. Bossras, First of all we want to thank you for visiting the Castle Spa! We are very sorry that due to a summary of coincidences you became a witness to technical problems which could not be removed immediately, but everything is already fully operational again and we are looking forward to be able to show them to you... It was my first and I am sure the last one visit to the Castle Spa. I booked my Treatments in this Center and made pre-payment 3 days before visit. When I came the staff was not informed that kind of procedure was booked by me and I had to spent a lot of time to explain and to prove... More

Dear Mr. Zibvakus, We are sorry you disliked your visit to the Castle Spa. The mineral water in the pool really does not look as good as good as normal water, mainly due to its composition and high content of salts and minerals. If you notice any problem with our our staff, please feel free to contact our manager and... More

These spas are relics of a bye gone era. An era when only nature could provide stuff like mineral water, hot water springs etc. Now almost every hotel has a world class spa which provides you the best of facilities. It was a good one time experience. This will help me check off one more thing off the list...

Dear Bhawanipathania, You're right, here at the Castle Spa we truly use the old, traditional methods of treatment, the same thanks to which, the town of Karlovy Vary gained its reputation. Please try to distinguish between a Medical SPA and a what you call "world class spa" in almost every hotel. Our goal is to heal clients and help them,... More

We tried the Spa at the Richmond Hotel yesterday, but today we tried the Castle Spa. Richmond was fantastic, very luxury and fine facilities, and a good price. The Castle Spa the exact opposite, just a small pool, poor changing facilities, treatments a laugh, expensive and staff without any idea about good service.

Dear Mr. C_Pedersen_2016, I dare to disagree with you, the traditional Karlovy Vary spa treatment is very effective and efficient, there are many different studies and publications to prove it. What you call a small swimming pool, is the only one of its kind containing thermo-mineral water of around 40%. Presumably, your goal was not a treatment program, but you... More

These people should be ashamed of themselves charging a fortune for a dirty disgusting place like this. Theres nothing there...just a pool with non working jets...massage people who dont know how to give a real massage (chinese people are the best).. And then the cherry on top was telling me to get into a dirty tub (mineral bath) that was... More
