This modest museum is worth the visit. The appreciation and spirit shown for the allies during the war period is impactful. The curator is friendly and you can tell where his heart is. It won't take more than an hour, but for Americans, neat to see the special relationship.

This small memorial is very close to city center and a nice place to visit. If you are a WW II buff, you will find numerous artifacts and significant displays. The memorial provides good insight not only into Patton but also the appreciation of the people of Plzen for their liberation by his army.

small museum but interesting, with good exhibitions, the museum is easy to reach from the town centre, on walking distance from the main square

We always try to visit any war memorial/museum whenever we travel if it were accessible. We think it is important to pay respect to those who served our country and also support those who try to keep the memories alive for future generations. We didn't even know there was a Patton museum at first - thanks to TA while doing... More

During the Liberation Celebration, we visited the Patton Museum. So much history! Such an honor to have the Czech people, and especially Plzen, display war memorability.

Very interesting experience for anyone interested in WW2 and/or Pilsen history. There is a lot to see and admire in quite a small area.

Small, but packed full of exhibits. My dad was in Patton's army until shortly before the liberation of Pilsen. Not everyone dislikes the US as the curator of this museum and the monuments around town will tell you. Met a WW2 vet of the liberation here, a day following the 70th anniversary celebration.

As other reviewers have noted, this is a small museum about the liberation of western Bohemia by the U.S. 3rd Army commanded by General Patton, but it is jam packed with fascinating information and artifacts. The admission charge is under $3 and is well worth a 2 hour visit. There is lots of reading and some of it is a... More

It is not that big of a museum, but boy is it packed with info and artifacts. We spent a couple of hours here. The name is a bit misleading because the museum is not just about Patton. It is about World War 2 in general, the liberation of Czechoslovakia and the groups who helped liberate it. It's a great... More
