We did the free walking tour on our 1st day to Prague. I can't remember our tour guides name but she was from Belaruse, maybe Katarina? She was great, gave us good recommendations, told us of places to avoid, and knew all about Prague history. We really enjoyed our time with her. So much we bought tickets to go on... More

Free walking tour was excellent and Terry was absolutely brilliant - she gave it a really personal touch, sharing some great stories and legends as we wandered through the city. Would definitely recommend both Terry and the tour itself!!

My girlfriend and I went on the free walking tour and castle your and both were absolutely fantastic. Pavel, a Prague local, was our guide for the free walking tour and was super informative. He provided his own personal view of Prague and the historic of the Czech Republic; have a Czech give their own opinions and thoughts was a... More

We arrived in Prague late morning and booked ourselves onto the 2pm walking tour as a means of finding our bearings. We were fortunate enough to have Krystyna as our guide, a local student who has a wealth of knowledge and personal anecdotes about the city. Would highly recommend the 3hr tour (including a restaurant stop to help warm up),... More

Ryan is a fantastic guide! He was engaging from start to finish and spoke passionately about Prague. The tour is a great way to get a lay of the land and begin to appreciate the landmarks of Prague and how they fit into the rich history of the city and the Czech Republic. I have done many of the Sandemans... More

The tour was great, out guide Katerina from Belarus was the best! It's a great way to know the city by the tour, and them to come back to all the places that we liked.

We had a fantastic tour of Prague with our guide (Australian) Kathryn. Her knowledge of the city and its history was incredible. The information wasn't overwhelming and her delivery made it really engaging but we went away feeling like we'd got a lot more out of our trip than we could have alone. The whole tour is 3hrs and there... More

We did the free tour with Ryan this afternoon and it was by far the best walking tour we've ever done. He was very engaging, charistmatic, zesty, and most importantly knowledgeable. We'd recommend this to everybody to get a good feel for the city, to feed your brains some interesting local knowledge, and to check out Ryan's impressive muscles and... More

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
