Down the steps from Prague castle, this medieval restuarant is a find. The rooms are dark and small and the wc is down a dark flight of stairs with a seated long term "resident" holding a lantern lighting the way. The atmosphere seems old but...More

I hate to use the word "awesome", but it was. I enjoyed the atmosphere most. It was medieval, and if you enjoy that sort of thing, you are in for a treat. By the way, the food is good, too.

As someone said here, it's not a kitsch experience. It's actually quite fun, the food is nice (I took the fish menu, whilst my friend that was with me took the vegan menu) and the performances were really fun. The staff is nice and friendly,...More

The performers alone are worth the visit. Talented fire-breathers and eaters, sword-swallowers, belly dancers, and music performers playing the instruments and music that would have been played there when it was an actual pub in 1375!!! There is hay on the floor, the entire building...More
