Excellent way to see this beautiful city. Our guide, Lara, was fantastic. As she had grown up in Prague her local and historic knowledge was brilliant. She made the tour worthwhile with her political insight and sense of humour

This is a great tour for you to get a feel of what Prague offers and its history before you decide on what you'd like to do in more detail. The "free" royal tour is based on tips so you pay what you believe is fair and this is clearly explained at the beginning of the tour. It's a bit... More

We did the Free Walking Tour, the Castle Tour, and the Kutna Hora Tour and loved them all! We only had a few days in the city, and this was a great way to see the major sites and learn some of the history. Givi was our guide for the castle and walking tours, and he was fantastic! We did... More

Highly recommended! We did 3 of their tours (Prague Castle District, Free Walking Tour & Kutna Hora Day Trip) and had amazing experiences for all! Givi was our guide for both the Castle District and Free Walking tours. He was super knowledgeable and hilarious and made both tours super fun. He shared the history and importance of all the sights,... More

My first 2pm tour only had 3 people so they cancelled it. I stood around for an hour waiting for the 3 and was disappointed when only 5 people showed up because the minimum is only 6 (and this is off-season). David said that he would give a shortend tour to our group but ended up giving a well-informed full... More

With Givy as our tour guide, I learned so much. He was extremely hilarious and very knowledgeable. He made it very fun and exciting, with new facts and jokes to keep the tour as fun as possible. Totally would go back with him as my tour guide again, strongly recommended!!!!

I've been in Prague for a few days and thought it would be nice to get some official facts and knowledge about the area led by an english speaker. My tour guide was Lana, who was very informative and also humorous. She led us through Old Town square and gave us detailed and easy to grasp information about each landmark.... More

Loved loved loved this walking tour! Under 3hrs unlike most that are advertised in tourist leaflets - which means you're not giving up a whole day. It's also FREE, so what do you have to loose?! Pisti was our guide, great guy, knows his stuff and incredibly friendly! ..and he was right, by the end of the tour it's definitely... More

Our experience was great. From the history and facts of the city to the guide Kevin. He recommended places to eat, how to behave around the locals and even where to exchange money if needed. Great tour! 🇦🇷

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
