David Cerny's art is in public spaces all over Prague. It is controversial, amusing and sometimes offensive. I am still not crazy about the huge crawling babies on Kampa. I don't see much humor there, and they take up space on a nice grassy spot. On our last visit in Prague we visited Oblaca restaurant and saw the other crawling... More

David Cerny is famous for his provocative art and sculptures exposed in and around Prague. His controversial production leaves no one indifferent. Cerny's avant-garde art is incredibly provocative with a great sense of humour and he is not afraid of pissing people off. There is some organised tour to see this works but if you like to be fit and... More

Dotted around the city are pieces of David Cerny's art. He has got giant crawling babies in Kampa Park and also on Zizkov TV tower. We also seen the Kafka statue, which is located just off Wencealas Square. The pieces are very good, even if a little strange!!

Only saw the men in front of Franz Kafka's museum, then the moving head and Hanging Out. Unfortunately ran out of time to look for the babies but honestly - already these three were my favourite MUST SEE things in Prague. Would love to see new work of his.

I saw the Horse Hanging Upside in the Lucerna Palace on my original trip to Prague in 2006 not knowing any of its history. On a recent visit I saw a couple of Cerny's other sculptures and wish I had had the time to visit them all. I asked a guide on a city tour about one of his sculptures... More

David Cerny has done some great things around Prague. Try to see as many as you can as to me they are all worth seeing, especially the moving head

We decided to find and visit majority of his sculptures .. Started at Wenseslas square (inside Lucerna Passage- Wenceslas riding horse upside down). Then we went towards Old town square and on the way there is Sigmund Freud hanging out from one of the buildings. Continued over Charles bridge and immediately after crossing turned right to Franz Kafka museum -... More

At first, I did not like the large black babies placed on the grass in Kampa park. They looked slightly odd and seemed out of place. I did not know then how famous and popular the artist was. His other works are displayed all around Prague and always seem to be somewhat shockingly out off place . ... and that... More

These sculptures are all over Prague, some in very public places and others in private buildings. He is obviously a brilliant, edgy artist, and these were some of the highlights of our trip!

We really enjoyed hunting for Cerny's sculptures. If you have children, be sure to find "Peeing Men" and "3 Babies". Easy to find and very worth it. The Babies especially are worth the effort; my boys spent a half-hour climbing all over them--great fun and fabulous photos! "3 Babies" is located in Kampa Park next to the Art Museum--you can't...
