We got there about 9.30 am and it was quite busy going through the security checkpoint. No queue for tickets. We got the short tour one at 250 crowns each. This got us into St Vitus Cathedral, Royal Palace, St George’s Basilica, and Golden Lane....More

Comprised of many buildings, this exceptional castle is not to be missed. Watch the changing of the guard with all it's formality. You are checked as if you are at airport security. The complex sit's high on a hill and it looms at you.

When you get here it has security to walk in the main areas. You don’t have to pay unless you go in the castle or cathedral. Just walking around the buildings is stunning and the photos of the place don’t do it justice.

A beautiful place up on the hill opposite the city center, but hopelessly crowded wit tourists from all over the world. Who would have thought people from the Far East get so excited with defenestration! Make sure you have dedicated guide to inform you on...More

Prague Castle is awesome. Lots of other reviewers can report that. I am concerned with one specific location however: the Imperial Armoury in the Schwartzenburg Palace (on the uppermost floor). - It's small and quite hard to find. It is only accessed by a strangely...More

Prague Castle dominates the skyline in the city, and the complex is more than just a castle. There is a lot to see, and take in. Things like the changing of the guard and the impressive church are some of the highlights. It pays to...More

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if
you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched
from the west to the north, provide spectacular views
of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone
streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green
gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses.
Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history.

Not sure what a circuit A ticket is. But once you are on the grounds of the castle, walking isn’t too difficult- clearly many of the buildings are not handicapped equipped, but there is much to see still. We had tickets for... More
