We had a great night in Chapeau Rouge! There is a club downstairs on the lower floor which has a dj booth and dance floor. We were there on a 'bass' night which was so much fun with a great atmosphere. It seemed to be quite popular with the locals too.

Horrible and creepy place! In Czech republic are so many good clubs but Chateau Rouge is one of the worst!

If you're looking for something a little more low key and not quite as "tourist-y", then come here. It's not far off the main square and everyone is very friendly there. Drinks are good, people are nice, fun environment...everything you would look for in a small bar!

This bar/club is very cool : the main floor is a crowded bar, very cozy and enjoyable. The lower floor is a club (when we went we had some pop, latino...), and the if you go even further down it is another club room (electro music, though we didn't go because there was a small entrance fee of 2€ and... I visited this with my friends. The venue looks nice and the place is cozy but I am not satisfied with the service. This bald guy with his english accent was being so gross because when I paid my drinks I handed him 2 times 20 czk and 1 of 50 and then 10 czk in silver coins. He began... More

Located just a short walk from our hotel room on the Old Town side of the Charles Bridge. It was a nice stroll at night through the cobblestone streets and squares of Prague to end up at a bar that I will just say has the best of everything you could ask for. Awesome vibe, super helpful bartenders and just... More

We been there with my friend by chance. At first we thought it just a regular bar but dance floor was dope. If they upgrade the upstairs would be 5star place.

Great place to party, amazing music and environment. The prices are moderate and worth every cent. We partied all night and an incredible time. This is more of an "alternative scene" though.

Staying in Stare Mesto (Old Town)

Neighbourhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighbourhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
