For fans of John Lennon

- Excellent graffiti art that keeps getting updated - John Lennon's face and other pop culture references - Great place to take selfies. Nothing else of note.

This wall is a graffiti artists dream and the best part is that vandalism is now welcome! Feel free to bring your paintbrushes and spray cans, ladies and gentleman. The wall still stands as a tribute to peace and politics…or anything else that a passing artist deems important.

The name of this place says it all. It is a wall dedicated to the legend himself, Mr John Lennon. The graffiti is amazing. There is something about this place that makes you love the man and music even more. Yes, it may seem like 'just a wall', but it's one with a difference. It's got attitude!

Take a walk in Malá Strana and stop by John Lennon Wall: it's a wall covered by John Lennon-inspired graffiti and pieces of lyrics from Beatles' songs. Have a look and take a picture there !!

It was interesting to see the various messages put on the wall. The wall looked very artsy and iconic. Area was filled with tourists taking pictures.

Being from Liverpool we thought we would have a look at the wall.Found it easily and there were lots of tourists there adding messages to the wall. There were cans of spray paint laying around as people just paint over other messages.Very colourful but nothing to get excited about.Worth 5 minutes of your time.

A piece of history, whether you are a fan of John Lennon or not... Always a relaxed friendly vibe at the wall, with groups and couples often offering to takes pictures of the other, without the fear of there cameras been stolen. Quite often changing with various graffiti being added, but always tasteful. A must for a nice photo.

I stayed right across the street so I was able to see it every morning before the small crowds began to gather. It's not far from Charles Bridge so easy to walk over to, just down a side street about five minutes. It's quite beautiful with such a variety of designs/colors/thoughts. The crowds are never really overwhelming, but if you... More

That you want to be able to see and share with those who are also visiting it. While I was there...there was a musician with a guitar who was playing Beatles songs. The public is allowed to leave messages or paint on the wall so it is forever changing.

Staying in Mala Strana (Little Quarter)

Neighbourhood Profile
Mala Strana (Little Quarter)
Malá Strana is one of the oldest and the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the city. Nestled underneath Prague Castle it was once a part of the Kings route taken by future kings on their way to coronation - originating in the Old Town, crossing Charles Bridge and leading to Saint Vitus Cathedral. Cobblestone streets are lined with picturesque medieval houses, remarkable palaces, churches, kitsch shops and restaurants. Do not hesitate to turn a corner into any narrow street. You will suddenly find yourself in a calm and charming neighbourhood full of hidden gardens, parks with peacocks, fruit trees and ponds. As the neighbourhood is a home to Czech Parliament and many ministries, you can also run into well-dressed officials. If you are thirsty or hungry, it is the right place to be. Restaurants offer delicious traditional food and of course, the best Czech beers.
