The main square is the most significant sight in Telc. It is lined with well-preserved Renaissance and Baroque houses with high gables and arcades. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. It is a shame that parking is allowed on the square,...More

We didn't have much time to spend here, but what we saw impressed us. We should have planned for a longer, perhaps an overnight stay. Nicer feel to it than Trebic, Trebon, Jindrichuv Hradec and Ceske Budejovice. Go for it!

We loved this little UNESCO listed town. Wandered around the ponds, the castle, the pretty square, lovely statues throughout the town for a couple of hours. There were hardly any visitors in late September so we were able to enjoy the place and take photos...More

The main square in Telc does not disappoint and this part of the Czech republic has one main square and castle after another. A great part of the world to explore.

You get the tickets in the info centre and you will be guided to opposite building to experience the underground. you will get torch and you can experience the corridors under the square, just the ceiling is somewhere too low

Cute little town, nicely preserved, a nice place for a break in the trip, a lunch while driving a road trip or something. It's nicely renovated.

Well worth venturing out of the center triangle and seeing the ponds on the outskirts of the city which provide the nicest views of this area. This is not highly publicized, but you can rent boats to take out onto the pond for very cheap,...More

This is the most beautiful square in the Czech Republic, not only because of the surrounding buildings but also due to fewer people around. The square was quite large, and the surrounding buildings were each unique and beautiful. Outside the square ran a river with...More

This area is small and charming. I was here for a wedding and the entire scene was beautiful. Not much else around, but a cool little area. Very relaxing and awesome for a bike ride

I went by bus from Florenz bus terminal. It took about 3 hours. (Along the way, there was a bathroom break)
