UNESCO World Heritage site. The Holy Trinity Column dominates the city centre. It is the largest group of Baroque statues in central Europe. Sit in one of garden cafes and enjoy the view.

This ornate column stands prominently in the town square. It was built in the 1700s to celebrate the end of the plague that had devastated that part of Europe. In 2000, it was named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

We walked to the Main Square after dinner. Olomouc has a lovely square that contains both the Holy Trinity Column and their Astrological Clock. Both are must sees when visiting Olomouc.

This monument was built for the people of the plague. Lovely to sit around and people watch having a ice cream.

It's really impressive and it stands in the middle of the main square where the Town hall is. You won't miss it while you walk through the city. The town seems very proud of it.
