This was not a good experience. The desk clerk did not speak English so she got her manager. The Manager did speak English, but didn't explain how the wine system really worked. My husband wanted to taste the better wines so he bought the more expensive ticket - that just got us more wine. After the first 2-3 tastes we... More

It was a great visit, we were there two times, for the first time the round standalone tasting of all samples cost 150 CZK per 2 hours per person (a family visit), the second visit already for as much as doubled costs (a wine lover travel around Moravia), unfortunately, but as usually, too attractive to give up for wine lover!... Fantastic activity for wine lovers - The hundred best Czech wines, all available to sample in a cool underground location. There is detailed information posted for each wine, but almost all in Czech. We didn't get cellular service in the cellar, but downloaded Czech on google translate in advance to help out. We found the white wines to be much... More

A big selection of the best czech white wines (and few reds). Good value for money, amazing historical building.

The objective of this centre is to promote and support wine and viticulture in the Czech republic. It is situated in the recently renovated cellars of the Valtice chateau. All the wines featured have been awarded gold medals by the Czech Wine salon, so you are sure that the quality is good. I had feared that this would be a tourist... More

It's probably best place in the world where you can taste best of the best. Nice historical place, great wines, fantastic education. Must see it!

We got the 90 minute ticket for unlimited tasting. We tried several white wines and a few reds (although whites were much better). You can purchase cheese to go with some bread which you wander (recommended). There is water to wash the glasses and drink along the way. All the information is in Czech which was a bit of a... This is a great place for everyone who loves wine. It offers several different kinds of tastings and you can directly purchase the bottles. It is a lovely place, however,it may get a bit crowded.

Would have been nice but they did not have English tours unless pre-arranged with an English speaking sommelier (500 Kc) or on Saturday's for group of 10 minimum. No English flyers either. It was interesting looking inside the wine cellar but could not experience this.

What an opportunity, to taste the highest rated 100 wines in the country! One enters the cellars of a castle, & ad lib, walks about, pouring as many & much vino as desired to test out their own preferences. Bottles are numerically ordered & described in Czech, however, WiFi allows a scan of each bottle's description in english. Prices are... More
