You will find interesting buildings and many restaurants along the street This is popular among many visitors. Close by other smaller streets which may be cheaper for food

This is one of the most beautiful streets in Gdansk. Plesant for a promenade, and to breathe the atmosphere of the city.

Dluga street is the main pedestrian street in the old town with lots of shops, restaurants and street performers. The buildings on either side of Dluga are very colorful and make for great pictures any time of day. As this is the main thoroughfare, it's very busy day and night. Definitely keep hold of your valuables in this area as... More

Whenever I come to Gdańsk, i Airbnb a place near this street as it is considered the heart of the city. It's full of restaurants, attractions but most of all history. It's a beautiful place for a stroll at any time of the day or night...

Gdansk does not have the huge open square like Krakow, but it is still beautiful and lively. It is a long pedestrian street filled with restaurants, street musicians, and beautiful building exteriors to admire. If you visit Gdansk, you will definitely wonder up and down this street a number of times. You can't miss it!

This restaurant is really very good. The food was excellent. The only thing that let's it down is a slight air of pretensiousness. Wine list is very pricey.

An amazing walking trail among "old" medieval buildings. It's REMARKABLE how well they rebuilt the Old Town with its Dluga Street after WWII, when the fleeing Nazis destroyed the city out of anger in about 80%. The street is a symbol of the city's Phoenix-like history - a must see!

Some nice little shops on the main pedestrian area with big restaurants with outdoor parasols at the bottom end. Neptune's fountain is located about half way up by the Old town hall... Don't forget to wander around the side streets too..

Lot's to see here, taking your time, no rush and pedestrian friendly. Plenty people doing what we were, sightseeing and enjoying the Polish culture.
