Small, information in polish only, but you get an english translated guide. Probably made by google translate. Not much of interest on show and not worth your time or money. Read wikipedia instead!

This is quite a small museum situated next to the Green Gate. It is worth a visit and tells the story of the Free City of Danzig that existed between 1920 - 1939 when the city's population was of German majority. All display boards are...More

A small well laid out museum showing life and commerce in pre-war Danzig. Also documents the rise for the Nazi Party. Although labels in Polish an english quite explaining the exhibits is available.

I popped in here to find out more about when Gdansk was Danzig. It was a small but good museum. Only a couple of rooms in it, but there were a number of artifacts in it and when I went in I was given a...More

Usually I love something slightly quirky, but this sadly wasn't one of them. Tourist information had suggested, as I like social history. Think I understand why it isn't in lonely planet or even tourist info maps! Partly they have exhibits to show props as to...More

Well, I visited this place but there was nothing particularly of note here. If you don't read Polish then avoid this place. Also it's very small and only takes two minutes.

A quirky little museum, on the first floor of a house. If you're interested in the interwar history of Gdańsk it's definitely worth a visit. The exhibits themselves are in Polish only, but I was provided with a written guide that translated the notices into...More

a small museum with signs only in Polish but with a detailed guide in English if required, covers the history of Gdansk as a Free City and the various countries that have tried to take control but what a Free City means. I enjoyed it
