Worth the walk from Gdynia Glowna train station to Kosciuszki Square which is located on the waterfront in the center of Gdynia. Which you can easily make a day trip of from its harbour views, monuments, museums, aquarium, souvenir shops, restaurants, water fountain. The highlight for me was to see the Polish destroyer ship ORP "Blyskawica" Tall ship Dar Pomorza and pirate ship all moored along the same pier.

Had an interesting walk back to the train station stopping and exploring the side streets looking for Street Art to take photos of and found the Displaced Gdynians Monument which is near to the Gdynia Glowna train station.

This is must if you’re in Gdynia. Good place to go for a walk, with plenty benches and many booths with ice creams, cakes or hot drinks. And amazing “Gift of Pomerania” - sailing ship, build in 1909, now open to public as museum.

Very nice area for a walk. Plenty of restaurants, shops and cafes. A « must see place » when in Gdynia. The square has many nice scenery. At the wharf one can see many impressive warships.

One of the nicest areas in Gdynia for the walk - there is always plenty of ships around, you can also visit some if you would like. Plenty of restaurants and cafes as well. Unfortunately, this place is unbearably crowded during the summer.

Surely, no visit to Gdynia can be complete without a visit to this most representative and attractive landmark.

Got off at Gdynia Glowny and walked straight up the road to the very end, quite bracing as was v cold. Saw the warship and the old cutters. Worth while for an hour to kill. Used my turisty transport card to get here and it took 35 mins from gdansk Glowny plus the 25 minute walk up to the harbour

The main square in this young city. It is the most known place in Gdynia due to the beautiful scenery it presents. Along the square there are some typical see restaurants and a small fun fair. At the wharf you can see quite impressive warships (impressive for Poles because our fleet is very poor ;) so kids will have attraction for a moment also. Some smaller ships offer cruises.
A bit later there's Oceanary (which you can visit almost anytime) and Maritime School.

Ambient is a bit dull and offers a classic touristic attraction, it's plenty of stands selling cheap souvenirs and a few restaurant boats.
Hopefully during the high season will offer higher standards of entertainment.
