This is one of only 2 second world war destroyers left in existence. The other being in Canada. Built in England and sold to the Polish navy before WWII. It took part in the D Day landings. Now kept as a museum ship and in...More

As with so many things in Poland this is a superb piece of WW2 history brought alive. You don't get to see as much as say on HMS Belfast, but it is still very comprehensive, and the engine rooms are mind boggling in terms of...More

Was surprise how good shape this ship is. Very interesting outside and inside, tickets prices are reasonable. Go and see it, it is well worth it ;)

It is very interesting to see but there is not enough English translation. It would be much more interesting to have English speaking guide that could share interesting stories and share the history with none polish visitors.

It is very interesting to see such a rare and perfectly preserved piece of history. The story of the ship is well shown through artefacts however I would say that for the English-speaking visitor there is not much translating. It doesn't take very long to...More

I recomment it to everybody who is interested in history. The Polish ship took part in 2nd World War and was awarded Virtuti Military. It is the oldest destroyer converted to museum . Viewing it is well organised and everybody should find something interesting .

ORP Blyskawica actually saw active service in the second world war including Dunkirk, and Battle of Ushant (Brittany). The ship is very well preserved and interesting to be able to walk around. Unfortunately not all of the signs have translations so in some places it...More

The ship is in great shape and looks great and you can see a lot of the engine room and the gun towers. The problem is that no other part of the ship was accessible when we were there i.e. the bridge, officer and crew...More
