I used to leave in Krakow and I love to go there despite of crowd, take some side streets like Jana or Krzyza. Don't follow crowd and if you have a chance reach Market at 4 AM signal will be played for you!

Visiting Old Town Krakow is worth the journey. It is full of renaissance, barroc and neoclassical houses and palaces. Many barroc churches. The medieval Uinversity ... Good restaurants and cafes. And the most beautiful medieval Market Place in Poland

Worth a visit and best done by buggy tour where you can be driven around and be provided with some history from the guide. Lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. Gives a flavour of Polish life.
