You can see over 40 species of alive spiders and scorpions inside (even the biggest one on earth - Theraphosa Blondi and the famous Black Widow)! Beautiful exhibition. There is even possibility to use guided tour and hold the spider on your hand! Therefore It is worth to phone call the Museum before and ask for a guide (free for... More

Walking through Krakow not so far away from the city centre you can find small museum with the natural exposition. With the smaller children you can spend from one to maximum three hours viewing all exhibits. The museum is not so huge and in case of bad wheather this is a good idea how to make an additional program to... More

Cheap to get in, like just over a tenner for 2 adults and a kid. It is cheaper to go to the actual zoo mind, which is 100 times better than this place. Loads of stuffed animals and that, and then some real animals, and then some more stuffed ones, and then some fossils and that. Then some musical instruments,... More

If you are the least bit quirky (like myself), you'll dig this place. Yes, many of the items do not have English labels. Yes, there is a certain level of chaos in this place. Yes, some of the exhibits will make you go, "Huh?" And yes, I loved every bit of it. Real animals, stuffed animals, bones, rocks, fish, gems,... More

2 adults and 2 kids 66 zlotys. Takes about 30 mins to an hour. Not brilliant but something to do with the kids. Very little in English.

Interesting small museum in an old prewar building that is part of the academic heritage of the city according to the lady at the front desk. Because we stayed in Kazimierz it was on our way to the Old Town. Along with a variety of preserved animals and birds, various live small animals and reptiles, there were also a few... More

Whilst searching for places to visit in Krakow with my 13 year old son we came across the museum. It cost 30 zlotys for the 2 of us. About £6 entry. The lady behind the desk had to run in front and turn all the lights on as we were the only visitors. We had a great time though and... More

We were staying across the road so visited this "museum" on our first day. We had walked around in 10 minutes and we were totally confused afterwards. It wouldn't be so bad if it was free entry.

Worth a visit. Rather like a Museum combined with natural history, an aquarium and a zoo rolled into one. Cheap entry and lots of information also in English.
