We did the english tour here, you can only go inside if you book onto a tour. There are lots of treasures here worth seeing if you are interested in either theology, philosophy, the sciences or astronomy.

You can enter the courtyard for free - worth it for the architecture. There is a clock which plays music and moving figures every 2 hours which is worth a look. Toilets and a cafe here too. You have to pay to enter the college.

Frankly we do not know much on the college, but attracted by the old buildings. When we were there it was raining hard, just have a short tour of the college. If you like the history of the college, you better learn more from the guide

The university is located right in the city center. The place is very beautiful and interesting. Copernicus studied at this university and has a room dedicated to him. It is recommended to do a tour with a guide is a must see while in Krakow,

We didn't know what to expect of Collegium Maius, as we only read some scarce information beforehand, but once we got there we were pleasantly surprised. You can only visit the Collegium with an English guide, which is nice, and they offer student discounts, so bring your student card along. This is a fascinating place to visit - one of Europe's oldest universities. Reading about Copernicus right up to the more modern times and the achievements and fates of the recent academic staff was captivating. Tuesday afternoons provide free entry.

I was in a small tour group when I saw the university. We stood in the courtyard and admired the architecture of the building. We were in time to experience the clock chiming. This university graduated Copernicus, so I felt like I was among elites to walk the walks. All was not well with the school. In November of 1939,... More

Be sure to visit, even if you only have time for a quick stroll to gaze upon some of the beautiful buildings. Built in the 12th century, it's one of the oldest universities in the world!
