A small entrance charge takes you into this fascinating museum. We found that there was enough English in most of the labels to be able to understand what we were looking at. There were also sheets in most rooms in English to pick up and...More

Went here with my mother to discover our Polish roots. This is a lovely little museum. On one floor they have re-creations of different styles of Polish houses that you can go into, and on another floor they have folk art (sculpture and paintings), and...More

The museum isn’t large so you can really spend time looking at everything without feeling rushed. We especially liked the top floor art exhibits. Initially, I was thinking of skipping this museum, but my companion wanted to go and I am glad we went.

Collections are never neutral. Somebody collected the items and made showrooms with real props to tell a story. Sometimes ethnographic museums tend to just display a lot of wood and fabrics. Here it gets alive when you enter the rooms and starts imagine yourself living...More

A small museum (spread over three levels) about the life and culture of the Polish, well worth the 13zl admission. Most of the exhibits speak for themselves, but was definitely at a disadvantage not being able to read Polish. Some very quirky exhibits!
