We didn't pay any extras to go in anywhere - we definitely would when we return and have more time though! We did walk around the cathedral itself though, and the grounds outside, and it's a beautiful place which is well worth a visit.

This is a beautiful Cathedral, one must see whilst in Krakow. Easily accessible. Small charge but well worth it.

The cathedral is up on Wawel Hill, so when you are at the castle you can visit. If you walk through on your own, it won't mean much. You need a guide to understand the significance of the place.

The Cathedral is in the top of Wawel Hill, with a lot of history to see. A lovely view from the hill overlooking Krakow.

The Cathedral has the silver sarcophagus of St. Stanislaw-spectacular sight. There are multiple side chapels and altars. Probably the most important thing is the huge Crucifix where legend has it that Jadwiga received a vision from Christ encouraging her to marry the Lithawanian king, Jagiello....More
