We were most fortunate to have heard an excellent concert by a string quartet of 2 violins, viola and cello, advertised as the Royal Chamber Orchestra, in this beautiful small church in Cracow’s main square. The program was a very diverse one with standard classical...More

Imposing, Romanesque church dating from the 11th century, featuring a Baroque dome. An interesting style…but it is from the 11th century! The church is small, located on the main market square, and won't take much time to view it; but, it's well worth it!

We popped in the this little church on our first day, then appreciated it for the next days we stayed in Krakow. It could be easily overlooked but do pay a visit. There are concerts held here early evening and they sell tickets on the...More

A visit to this church is not time consuming - look at the main features, snap a few photos, leave. This small cubical church is easily seen on a corner of the old town square as most people who use Grodzka to get to Wawel...More

Is the church misaligned with the square around it or is the square misaligned with the church within the square. Neither/both. We were told that one is aligned east/west and the other north/south. One of life’s little mysteries.

An hour hit parade of classical music by a quartet from the Krakow Chamber orchestra. Book in advance on-line. You will not be disappointed. The Concert is 18.00 and lasts 60 min so before dinner is perfect.

This tiny church is definitely worth visiting if you are in the Main MarketPlace of Krakow. It is small but delightful and what a ceiling. The paintings around the dome have been beautifully restored and because of light streaming through the lantern at the top...More

Dating back to the eleventh century this is a small but interesting church right in the main square. It doesn't take long to view all its pretty and detailed interior but it is famous for the concerts that take place most days, Chopin being the...More

If you are considering attending a Chopin concert in Krakow, please choose one preforming in St Adalbert. The surroundings are inspirational and the sound quality is so much richer. Tickets can be purchased at the church. During "high" tourist season, you may want to get...More

This is a very central church, located in the main Market square. Despite being central, it lacks character and other than being plain old, it's worth - perhaps - a minute or two of visiting it.

There is no fee. Opening hours are various I think, you should check at tourist office. You must mean underground historicall site of Krakow, cause the city doesn't have a subway. Only trams
