A very ornate synagogue in a somewhat poor state of repair with the right balcony propped up. Gives you a feel of what the area must have been like before the devastation of the second world war. Fortunately its still in use by the Jewish community and for various events so still survives intact. Well worth the 10PLN cost of... More

The Kazimierz District ( Jewish Quarter) is an absolutely fantastic synagogue to visit as in my opinion this is one of the most famous and beautiful synagogues in Krakow. The exterior may be in need of renovation but then again I think this adds to the charm . The interior is completely the opposite with wonderful gold etched architecture and... More

The building is in a poor state of repair but most interesting to visit. Around the walls are photographic records of the Jewish people who have called this synagogue their home. It was a most interesting photographic record. I just felt an overwhelming sense of peace and tranquillity as I wandered around the building.

A very welcoming place of worship which is sadly in need of repair. Still beautiful in spite of this and extremely interesting. You are free to walk around and explore. There is a small admission fee.

It's located in the Jewish Quarter and close to the New Square. It was closed when I was there so I couldn't get in but it was nice from the outside.

The lasy at the entrance door greeted me with a smile. She spoke no English and me no polish or hebrew, the smile was inviting & Said hello. This place is very pretty inside, quiet & peaceful. The area is being re-vamped & the jewish centre is trying hard to Restore jewish history & promote it.

I'm not sure if there are active prayers still conducted here. It's a nice place- it's worth going inside to see and explore.
