First of all - this museum is free on Tuesdays. If you are getting free entry I cannot recommend enough that you visit. Even if not, I highly recommend it. Take tram 5 or 52 from the main train station in Krakow and there is a dedicated stop right outside the museum- Muzeum Lotnictwa (helpful hint: it is the opposite... More

Spent a few hours wandering around the collection. Some of these aircraft, you will not see anywhere else! Went on a weekday in March and it was very quiet. Could maybe do with a cafe that is open. Staff were all very helpfu.

Got a taxi from the centre (only £5) to this excellent under publicised museum. Entrance fee only £3 but they do have a free day(Mondays). Fantastic display of 150 aircraft, tanks, military vehicles from Poland, Russia, USA, Germany, UK. Indoor exhibitions also.

Spent about 4 hours here , i am not an enthusiast but thought as here will go alongI found it very interesting, an abundance of planes , engines missiles etc .. certainly worth a look around even if not an enthusiast .. To me was more like a home to old aircraft ( outside) but still very interesting .. Think... More

This museum is located on one Europes oldest airfields. A nice collection of pre war and WW2 aircraft , though the Cold War collection is outstanding. Mig`s galore of every type used by Poland. A definate must for any aviation enthusiast.

The exhibits are in the main in a fairly poor condition, but that is because (in the main) they are located outside in all the extreme weather. However you will see a good collection of eastern block fighters and bombers and others, that you will be familiar with from Airfix kits and old RAF propaganda films! The indoor displays are... A short tram journey from old town. The outdoor displays include an impressive collection of MiG / Su fighters and more soviet planes and helicopters. Also have some western and american jets and some WWII warplanes (Me-109 and Spitfire)

We visited this museum after reading a lot of good reviews. And we were right! First, on Tuesdays the entrance is free. So, you can save some money if you choose this day. Then, there are really a huge amount of things to see! Planes from their first models to modern aircrafts, helicopters, missiles, and many more! Kids liked a... More
