This exhibit is entirely made of photos with powerful commentary which reveal the horrors of the suffering of Polish Jews and the muddy complexities of Poland's relationship with its Jewish history. A must for anyone visiting Krakow who wants to engage with more than the fairy tale of the old town.

We arrived in Krakow on a Sunday lunchtime and wanted decided to visit this museum ahead of our excursion to Auschwitz-Birkenau. The museum was easy to find in the Jewish quarter and had a small entrance fee. The museum is a series of display boards with very thought provoking information supplied . Photos on the display boards were well presented... More

Really interesting museum. A different take on telling the story of the Holocaust as well as other Jewish history. Story is told through the use of contemporary photos which makes it quite innovative. Lovely cafe too.

We came across this museum after visiting Schlinder's factory on our way back. We popped in and we were unaware how moving this place is. 140 photos of 21st century Judaism, how the holocaust destroyed their culture, the lasting effect on their culture. I walked away astonished and moved. Please visit, it's an experience never to be forgotten!

The brilliant photography in this exhibition is combined with some thought provoking text discussing the fate of Jewish culture in Polish Galicia over the past hundred years, I left with many questions answered and lots more that I'd never considered previously. I would certainly recommend a visit, perhaps in combination with a visit to Schindler's factory or the Eagle Pharmacy... More

Such an interesting museum and not to be missed, even though it is slightly off the beaten track. Exhibit consists of mostly photographs and descriptions but don't let this put you off as it gives a really good insight into the Jewish communities that existed prior to the holocaust and the impact that it has had since. Very impressive to... More

This is a great museum, a local recommended it to me and I'm so glad that she did! Take your time to read the descriptions, take your time to digest what the photos represent and say. It is no good if you just want to scoot around taking photos on your phone... a few tourist were going this and I... More
