While most Jewish museums are emphasizing on the pre-holocaust Jewish communities or what has happened to them, this museum offers information about buildings and other aspects of Jewish life after the war. The photos were really impressing, you can also download the app and listen to free audio guide about each photo. I really liked the idea. Very nice staff... More

We got lost on the way partly because map was not very clear but once we got there it was really interesting. Myself not being Polish I've learned a lot about how things used to be in Krakow

Begin your visit to this excellent museum with a unique photographic perspective. There was an extra exhibit on Jews serving in the military during WWI. Don't miss.

My wife was initially reluctant to enter this museum, thinking it would be just photographs, it is much more than that. The photographs are of a superb quality but stories that go with them are extraordinary, we spent nearly two hours in here, totally absorbed. A different view of the holocaust through modern colour photographs. One of the best things... More

This was the last place that my friend and I visited after seeing Auschwitz, Birkenau and Schindler's Factory. Only the permanent exhibit is available for viewing and it is a wonderful photo exhibit from the Galicia region of Poland (and Ukraine). The photos are divided into five sections and it was particularly poignant after seeing the death camps. The photos... More

This museum is an absolute must. Full of Jewish history and surprising information about the war and the experiences of the Jewish people. Easy to find with an excellent book store and cafe attached.

This museum tells the story of Jewish life and death in Galicia through a series of excellent photographs with accompanying texts. What is most impressive it the fairness of the texts being factual and not hyperbolic. Worth a visit.
