Firstly I was fortunate to attend whilst the exhibition of the mystery girl's diary was there. I don't know how long it will last but it was absolutely fascinating. The main exhibition is presented through photographs grouped into five sections that take you through Jewish...More

The multimedial exposition about the polish Galicia is very interesting. It is not a great exposition, although it is so important because of the very problem to talk about a whole nation, which does not exist any more. Pictures and different kinds of documents allow...More

In a large series of recent photographies is documented what little remains today, typically in terms of tombstones, ruins and a few memorial sites. Well worth a...More

I feel like this is the first place you should visit in Kraków. It gives you an insight in to the Jewish history and culture in the city. Good preparation before visiting Auschwitz.

The exhibition starts with a diary extract of a fourteen year old girl who lived in the Krakow ghetto. It is followed by a photo documentary. Most impressive was the description of how the people handle the past, e.g. rebuilding destroyed memorials by jews and...More

I didn't want to go to Auschwitz. Coming here, I could see some very interesting, artistic and poignant photos showing how much of Jewish life no longer exists. There were also extracts from a diary/notebook kept by a girl called Rivka - a bit like...More

Very good exhibition the girl's diary had been discovered after the war in the crematorium of the concentration camp (Auschwitz, I believe). This very moving account was presented very well and like so many accounts provides evidence of the atrocities. Great coffee in their cafe...More

I stayed in a similar location to where you will be. It's a leisurely walk (maybe 30 mins max) or a 10 mins taxi ride. Enjoy :)
