Krakow Zoo’s 17 hectares (42 acres) accommodate more than 1,400 animals. Its most prized residents include herds of pygmy hippopotamus and Przewalski horses, Somali wild ass, Pere David's deer, barasingha, South American tapir, white camel, South American sea lions, several species of wild cats and rare antelopes such as addax, eastern bongo and waterbuck.

Small zoo,comparing to world famous gardens..But that doesn't make it unworthy for visiting..Everything is excellent..from the positioning in the town,through surrounding- the beautiful forest and the most important ofcourse the care of the animals...

The zoo itself was ok, with lots of different animals - but in way too small cages. The food isn't great either. Worth a visit anyway, though.

I am spellbound from this Krakow Zoo. Your children have to see all these animals and beauty. It is very big and there are a lot of kind of birds, animals...The Peacocks walk free there, they are so beautiful

you need to go to Krakow Football Stadium about a 15 min walk from the centre or catch a bus/tram there and there's a bus will take you directly to the zoo
