Lovely big collection of artwork and historic uniforms (mainly military). Also a prehistoric section with skeletons, pottery, early tools etc.... Virtually no English signage or descriptions unfortunately but still worth a visit.

District or Regional museum do not do this museum justice. The museum has a fabulous collection of old paintings and artefacts. The staff at the museum are very attentive and knowledgeable on the collections within the museum. Well worth the entrance fee to this surprising...More

This museum, located in a former monastery, is special mostly because of its collection of paintings. There are some hidden gems by famous Polish artists in the upstairs Polish paintings exhibit, but this exhibit also includes some relatively little known names (Feliks Hanusz, Wladyslaw Czahorski,...More

Good to see all the old painting of people from long ago and to see the old ceilings decorated so beautifully on a par with Michael Angelo.

The entire street of 3 Maja is a good place to walk and take in the sites of old Rzeszow. Lots of shops and cafes in the museum district. Lots of walking but worth the time. Good people watching.

Paintings here are not maybe of extremely famous artists (though there of course are some by famous Polish artists) and maybe most are not extremely impressive, but in this not small collection you can definitely find some worth seeing and remembering. If you're in Rzeszow...More

I think the the paintings shown in the corridors with a bad lighting is not a very good idea. The sun reflections did not let to see the picture. Not bad polish painting collection (Gierymski, Boznańska, Weiss) but presented in a way as it was...More

You can see this museum, but it is not obligatory at all. Collecions of Polish medals are pretty nice and from time to time there is quite intersting temporary exhibitions, but mostly is boring. In case of any updates about exhibitions please look http://www.muzeum.rzeszow.pl/wystawy
