After you have found a parking spot (several paid spots available, but several hundred meters remain, on an ascent. This is clearly a tourist hotspot, with souvenir stands and ice cream sold on the street. Church visits are strictly limited, the door opens, out comes...More

It is still a long way to climb up, even after parking the car, but worth it. Wonderful craftsmanship in the stave church (no nails). I'd just been in Norway, so I would have liked to know more about the church and its history, but...More

The church is very nice. Loved it especially from the outside. Inside was nice but not in English. Just a paper to read.

Lovely small church made of wood in Norway - sold to prussian king - brought to Berlin, than to Karpacz. 2€ entrance fee. Nice place to spend 1 to 1,5 hours.

The church was beautiful and I would recommend if visiting Karpacz. It is really old with a Chinese look.

Very interesting building. Wooden architecture straight from Scandinavia. You won't find one like that in Poland. Original, amazing, one of my favorites. Must visit!

Lovely and original church completely made in wood, I've enjoyed to take a nip inside, everything is wood made. Interesting the history, a norwegian church rebuilt in Poland. It worth to be seen, especially if the program of the day is to go to the...More

Even it's a story behind, it's quite weird to see viking style church in the middle of Poland mountains. Some nice pictures available though.

We climbed up to find out there was a wedding in the church and it would be open to visitors in about an hour. Couldn't wait. We didn't thought to check if it’s a proper time for a visit… so we took pictures of the...More

From what I had experienced, there are Buses running as I had noticed while 'fast tracking' down the winding and medium sized bitumen road leading to Karpacz from Wang with my mountain bike. What fun and exhilaration... More
