These tiny remains of former fortification are not in a good condition and there is not too much to see. I don't think it makes sense to plan a separate trip but if you visit Panorama I recommend to cross the road and explore this place a bit. If nothing more it offers a nice view to the river.

This ruined bastion is set in an elevated site overlooking the river, Ostro Tumski and the cathedral. It is on a grassy mound surrounded by mature trees. It is right opposite the Panorama painting gallery and alongside the National museum. An artist's market sets up here on a Saturday which adds interest. The bastion is sadly spoiled by litter and some graffiti but the views from the top are worthwhile.

Feel its another missed opportunity to create something. Obviously has been looked after in the past but looks intact under the mound but as its gated up we'll never know.

Next to the Panorama Museum, the Bastion is a must see in Wroclaw as it holds historical value while offering a fantastic view on Trumski Island and its cathedral when on top.
