Botanical Garden is great place not only for plant lovers but also anyone who can appreciate spending time in a quiet place, surrounded by nature. Great not only for learning botanics but also for having a calm time, book reading, nice walk or just escaping from the city rush for a moment.

We have been to many botanical gardens and this one comes very close to the top. The gardens showed great variety, meticulous landscaping, and were highly pleasant for a morning stroll. Enthusiastically recommended!

Lovely peaceful gardens with interesting abstract sculptures in steel, We came on a wintry November day so the gardens probably weren't at their best, but it was still nice. The tropical houses were not open, but it was a pleasant walk around and well worth the £1 in (5 zlotys). If you are a plant person, the plants/trees are all... More

It is not a giant garden but if you go there during off peak, it's a great place where to relax, read a book or just listen the city (as it is in the city centre, you can hear the rumour of the street outside). You can stay there all day.

I'm not really a plants person, but thought this place was nice to have a stroll around. There are all sorts of plants there that I could tell you nothing about with the signs in Polish and presumably Latin. Entry was 15PLN each, about £3, so hardly breaking the bank. The autumn colour were lovely and I imagine in Summer... More

This was such a surprise! A beautiful, peaceful garden, very well maintained, very interesting range of plants, including a comprehensive display of aquatic plants, all well labelled for the botanically minded. When we visited there was a harvest season display through the garden that was fun for young and old.

A great get away in the middle of the city. Really well kept, with some interesting plants (eg. carnivore plants next to one of the ponds). Plenty of water (ponds and fountains), picturesque bridges to take some photos of, lots of secluded spots to sit and read a book. Might be a bit crowded at sunny spring/summer weekends.

This is a very nice park with a great variety of plants. The admission is super cheap and it's a very good destination to visit, especially during the middle of the day. Very peaceful place to walk, relax and learn about some plants, flowers and trees in the process.
