We came here as part of the Free Wroclaw Walking Tour. It is a nice walk and pretty to see. Seems to be on the edges of the center coming here helped us locate the Municipal Records Office which was nearby. That office is important for visitors wanting to obtain their Polish birth certificates.

Not really many real moats survived the times of modernisation of cities in Europe. Probably overlooked but truly a monument of the past and great indication of the size of the old town section of Wrocław. You can have a nice stroll along it, it is about 4,5 km (3 miles) long.

Take a walk around the former boundaries of the old town. On the north side, you'll find the beatiful riverside with all it's island mentioned elsewhere - but the south side is very nice overlooked spot. It's shaped as a park along the moat, where people bikeride, roller skate, old men play chess in the shadows of the trees. Nice... More
