If you do one touristy thing while you're in Wrocław, you should see this. It is a panoramic painting from the 19th century, commemorating a momentous battle from 1794, where the Polish nationalists gathered an army together and defeated a far stronger Russian imperial army. Whilst the Poles won this battle, their rebellion ultimately proved unsuccessful. But this battle became... More

It's a must see when in Wroclaw. The painting is massive. It has it's own building just to display one painting. Go and see it.you won't be disappointed.

Possibly the greatest Battle panorama in the world. You'll also learn about an important event in polands history. Good audio guide (included in the ticket) you'll need 1 hour here..

I loved my visit to this highly unusual and wonderful depiction of a very important part of Polish history and culture. The building itself is rather extraordinary, even before you experience this amazing and unique 360 degree painting. The commentary is in Polish however you are given headsets in many international languages and they guide you right through the painting.... More

Now this is something truly amazing. The patriotic inspiration of this work of art isn't so exceptional in itself, but the rendition of it is fantastic. The clarity of the battle scene, the interactivity with the drama, and the pictorial chronicle. Then the ingenious way that the foreground blends with the panorama integrating the visitor in the whole scene. It... More

A close friend who grew up in Wroclaw recommended that we visit the panorama. We casually arrived at 3.24pm & discovered the only way you can see it was at set times with a tour. The last tour was at 3.30pm. We were very hesitant about going in because it was a tour, we have kids age 5 & 10... More

I booked this tour because I read the reviews that it's a must-see in Wrocław. Well, it was borning, 80s style exhibition. Would be so much better, if there were "stations" where you can stop and listen about chosen part of the painting. Because when everyone was listening to the same story, I had no space to see anything, it... More
