This Museum is full of religious artefacts, Mary holding the baby Jesus, Mary holding her dying son and then more of the same. It seemed to be over staffed and the staff did not interact with visitors.

A must for all art-lovers. Love the polish painters (Matejko) but also the rich collection of not polish painters (Renoir) and so on.

This museum hold a big collection of Polish art dating for 13rh century up to 19th. Even though the part with religious paintings might not be as entertaining as I would like to, it was still interesting to observe the evolution of the sacral art....More

I'd probably back up previous reviewers who've commented that the museum is more of an art gallery than a museum. The vast majority of the pieces be this carvings, paintings, statues and other artefacts are focussed on religious icons, primarily Jesus both as an infant...More

This museum was even better than I anticipated. The baroque style Aula Leopoldina was absolutely beautiful. Although the mathematical tower gives a great panoramic view of the city, it wasn't the highlight for me. There are some interesting exhibits to see in the other rooms....More

First thing to say is that this is primarily an art gallery, not a museum. I found the exhibits a bit dry, and no real logic in the layout. Lots of curators around but not a lot of information on hand, either from them or...More
