The islands are all accessible on foot and are generally clean and well kept. A couple have bars and a restaurant and even a small sandy beach. Building restoration and construction work is evident all around. Great city and river views mature trees and grassed areas make for a relaxing place to visit. Some large art works have been installed in this area too.

I love visiting the bunch of Islands that make up the Cathedral Island complex ,one of my favourites is Bielarska Island ( Wyspa Bielarska ).
An oasis of calm, this beautiful little island offers great views of the River Oder and some of the stunning church buildings that proliferate this are of the city ,if you're planning a holiday to Wrocław its most definitely well worth checking out.

One of the joys of visiting Wrocław are the cool little islands found in this most beautiful of cities.
All are easily accessible including Bielarska Island, this particular island offers some great views down the river ,lots of interesting sites nearby such as a couple of churches and it's just so nice sitting down ,taking in the views and planning out the day ahead in this most beautiful little city.
Well worth checking out.

Quiet natural space, pleasant to stroll. Lots of benches, some occupied with quiet and polite students discretely sipping beers - nobody bothered them. Good views across the river of the Jesuit University founded in 1702. I traveled solo with a Real Poland Tour Group. Access island via 2 pedestrian bridges.
