It is a small cathedral but architecturally charming, graceful and lovely. Anytime in Bydgoszcz we always try to visit this church or even participate in a mass here. This time was a bit atypical since the church is undergoing renovations. Interestingly during their work archeologists...More

It must surely be the smallest Cathedral I have ever been to but what a charming affair it is! Nearly pure gothic in form and style with beautifully renovated stylish polychromy on the inside, which however is relatively new. Perfect spot for a moment of...More

very old church in a beautiful place, close to the river. Inside very interesting because of colours - violet, pink, navyblue and gold

This church doesn’t look any different than a standard gothic town church in Poland, although its location close to the River is very pictoresque. The church is fantastic inside though. The deceptively sober facade hides a big surprise inside: an explosion of bright colors covering every square inch of the walls and roof plus 4 very ornate side altars.

From the outside this cathedral is not very different from any Polish Gothic church but once inside you'll be stunned by the burst of colours, every nook and cranny is painted in bright vibrant hues!

I have a real sentiment for this church. It is a beautiful cathedral but it is not huge in size or overwhelming. Upon walking in you will instinctively and inevitably feel the sense of "peace and quiet". For Catholics there are 24 hour confessions available,...More

This may not be on Unesco, but it should be. Small, quaint, but marvelously painted with a very unique pallet that is distinctly different from most cathedrals. I think this is a must see.
