Lots of English translations throughout was a definite positive and did convey a story but we wanted more. More of the worker's lives and more interaction. There is a room with videos of the site selectable in English or Polish but we didn't see any...More

Lodz owns its history to this factory. It is impossible to have a clue of Lodz without visiting this place. Moreover, the surrounding manufactura mall is a pleasant place. There are plenty of other activities you may enjoy, but visiting this museum is a must.

Good idea however only one floor not much to see. I have been leaving in Lodz for over 20 years, but I have to say avoid this museum. I know is just over £1 for entry but is nothing there.

The museum gave an excellent history of how Lodz became the great rival of Manchester in the cotton industry from approx. 1820 till all their major markets collapsed at the end of World War !. Facenating to follow the history up to our time!

A great museum that told the story of the textile industry and the factory site in particular. At one time there were 850 textile factories in Lodz contributing to the expansion of a once tiny village. A really interesting story and a great roof top...More
